The Web 2.0 is Us/ing Us

First of all, let me apologize to my regular readers for not posting so often lately, all I can say is that I have been very busy with two of my other jobs lately and I barely had the time to be online. I also have to apologize to the 50+ Backlink Contest participants, you can expect Batch 7 in a day or two ;)

Now to get back to the topic of this post, check out this superb video about Web 2.0 that was created by guys over at MediatedCultures.net

This is a video that really gets down to the core of the whole Web 2.0 concept. They are focused on one question - are we using the web OR is the web using us? Basically, it's all about people...

Take a look at this video to see for yourself and share some thoughts with me.

For people that own websites, we are using the web to make money off of our ad links and work. For those who use MySpace, Facebook, etc, the internet is using us for what webmasters are using the internet for. So in saying that, together we're using the internet which is using us.

Hi Kassper, I have a silly question to ask. Something went wrong at Technorati, the url of my blog Marketing•Review was modified as a result. You were one of my favors, could you please fave the newly claimed one (the old one was dropped): http://www.technorati.com/blogs/marketingreview.web-log.nl (it's silly, it had ..web-log.nl/marketing_review/ the end, the "marketing_review/" folder extension has now gone) Thx!

My God!

That was incredible. You can probably tell it's the first time I've seen that clip and it's really given me some food for thought.

Thanks for posting it Kassper.

Cheers,
Janey :)

Brilliant, isn't it?
I saw it a few weeks ago, and adored it.

are we using the ______ is the _______ using us? You can insert practically anything in the blanks,
government, school, work, and the question works. I am beginning to come to the conclusion that you have accept the fact you will be used, you have to learn to used it to get a "virtual" quid pro quo.
